1. This is great advice no matter where you are in life and what you are doing. Sandra Bullock is my favorite actress and this is one reason why she’s amazing!

DO IT! DO IT! Why leave boxing when you have a six figure contract like that on the table? If she fights Braekhus, wins, and has the fight broadcast on Showtime or HBO, UFC will come knocking with a better offer.

  7. 800 Followers!!!

I just want to say all 800 of you are awesome and I really do apologize for the always reblogging and lack of new stuff.

At the end of the police academy I had runners knee that took me out for a month, then I got to train for the month of December until I ended up with turf toe/severe inflammation.

This year I continued to have severe inflammation in my feet and could not train or well work out at all that extended into February.  Then I got sick on what was supposed to be my awesome BJJ trip abroad. (Strep throat twice over 2 weeks), the result was inflamed lungs for two weeks following the two weeks of strep throat. So not being able to breathe while trying to breathe makes it hard to do any kind of training.

Which brings us to the end of March. Some how at the end of my trip I ended up with acute lower back spasms and now have little to no mobility from the lower back down. Which will probably take up the rest of April as well. (I work overnights as a body guard for million dollar horses!)

Sorry for the long post. I will bounce back and start training again as soon as I can. And I hopefully will be able to bring you new stuff and get back into interviews and other such things.

Until then… Stay Calm and hit the mats!

    Sport Science S02E11: World’s Toughest Woman (June/21/2009)

"Gina can land all 8 blows in a blistering 3 seconds. And how much does this maelstrom combine to generate? An amazing 4,800 pounds of force. That’s like a North Pacific giant octopus pounding you with all 8 of it’s arms. Translation: In 3 seconds, Gina could brake your ribs, give you a concussion, shatter your nose, rupture your spleen, cause internal bleeding, and put you down for the count."
